Czech Republic 08-08-2009
Top of the range!!!!!! Steve Walker, Adrian Durran and Cory Cook achieved some stunning results over the weekend in Prague. Steve and Adrian finished 5th and 13th repectively out of 13 Britains in their AG, while Cory was the 4th GB athlete across the line and 5th in her AG!! The weekend was a complete success and minus a few sore muscles I think the weary travellers are feeling quite chuffed!! Well done you three. GB's colours were flying.

Wow another awesome week in the lives of the Tritons.
Wednesday night saw some great results at the Leybourne Lake sprint where Jamie Beecham continued his rich vein of form to break the course record.
Strathclyde Triathlon 26th July
Vernon Thomas and Rob Baker set their respective age groups alight on Sunday at the World Championship Qualifiers.
Vernon, already qualified for Australia confirmed his pedigree status by winning his age group
Rob Baker was 10th in AG and narrowly missed out on automatic qualification by 6secs, but he has been selected on fastest percentage time qualification.
Congratulations Rob!
Milton Keynes Triathlon 26th July
Sunday saw a smattering of Tritons at Emberton Park where on a very fast course the Tritons set the field ablaze, Jamie Beecham continued his good form, with Keith Sanders and Matt Winn-Smith both going agonisingly close to the magical 2hr mark.
Gary Shaw completed his first ever OD triathlon in a highly commendable 2:46, well done Gary hope the camping wasnt too traumatic.
Keith claimed a new pb and edging out Matt by just over 2mins, despite Matt running a sub 36 for his 10k, but the fastest Triton of the day with an amazing time of 1:59 is Jamie Beecham!
In the female event, Freddie Sumption was in a class of her own continuing her form that has already seen her qualify for the World Champs by claiming 6th female overall, 2nd in AG in a time of 2:16:55!
Excellent work folks!
